Position Paper B

Committee-Commission of the Status of Women (CSW)
Topic- Achieving Gender Equality Through Youth Education
Country-Iran
Delegate -Monica Cantu Sanchez
School-Colegio Ingles

Female youths who later are becoming into are at the center of activities in the family, society, the community and all facets of life. Education is an important tool for promoting gender equality and advancement of female youths in socioeconomic and political development of nation .Their contributions to the household chores, income earning activities, community participation, community management  roles and other areas of life cannot be overlooked.

The study of various educational indicators, including access to early childhood care and education, participation in primary, secondary, and higher education, and adult literacy rates, points to considerable progress made towards gender equality in Iran over the last decade.Iran,is aware of all of what is happening in education. When a girl becomes 12,she gets married at 14,gets pregnant at 16,and she has no get a way to get money so that she can protect her family,so because of this mostly in Iran girls are not able to finish school,so they have no education.

Some solutions that Iran proposes are to start making a law that girls should get pregnant until the age of 19 so that they can finish their education.Another soltution can be that if they are pregnant,to take their kids to a guardery,so that they can continue studing and getting a good job, because if they don’t study, they are going to get jobs that she cant get enough money to protect her family.
